Dr. Joel Leger,
BSC(HONS), CEP, CK, CSCS, CMACP, DC
Chiropractor
Dr. Joel Leger was born and raised in Cornwall, ON. It is with great pleasure and pride that Dr. Leger returns to his hometown to provide complementary and alternative healthcare to the community.
Dr. Leger graduated magna cum laude from University of Ottawa, school of human kinetics, in 2008. He then pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at CMCC, in Toronto, and graduated in 2012.
Throughout Dr. Leger’s post-secondary education, he received the academic all-Canadian student athlete award for the sport of baseball and he was placed on the dean’s honor list. Dr. Leger is continually improving his clinical skillset and knowledge with advanced courses in spinal adjusting, clinical nutrition, concussion management & rehabilitation, functional neurology, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, and custom orthotics to name a few.
Today, Dr. Leger is happily practicing at Cornwall Spine Care Plus primarily as a chiropractor, but also as an acupuncture provider, an active release provider, certified kinesiologist, certified exercise physiologist, and certified strength and conditioning specialist. Dr. Leger’s clinical interests include acute and chronic low back and neck pain, nerve entrapments/irritations, geriatric care, sports injuries/performance, and preventative care.

Dr. Draper obtained a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (clinic honours) from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College from 2008-2012. In 2012, she studied contemporary medical acupuncture at McMaster University and graduated as a Certified Acupuncture Provider. During Dr. Draper’s post-secondary education she was awarded The University of Western Ontario academic scholarship of distinction, the bronze W award for athletic excellence, and won an OUA championship title for Varsity Figure Skating.
Dr. Draper’s special interests include treatment and rehabilitation of the low back, midback and neck regions, headache relief, pregnancy related muscle and joint pain, pregnancy wellness, infant and pediatric chiropractic care, and sport injuries. Dr. Draper enjoys staying up-to-date in her profession and has taken addition courses in prenatal chiropractic care (including Webster Technique), perinatal core and pelvic floor rehabilitation, pediatric chiropractic care, Spinal Stenosis rehabilitation, Thompson Technique, Active Release Technique (ART®), Graston instrument assisted technique and more.
Dr. Draper believes that clear communication and patient education are imperative to providing first-rate patient care. She knows that when a patient understands their injury they are better equipped to deal with their injury. This can lead to quicker recovery times, better coping strategies and prevention of future re-injury.
It is Dr. Draper’s mission to work with each patient as both their advisor and teammate to ensure the best care possible. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you start your journey to optimal physical health.
Dr. Kylie Draper,

Amanda Decoste,
BscKin(Hons), MScPT
Physiotherapist
Amanda completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Laurentian University in 2008. She then graduated from the University of Toronto in 2011 with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Amanda has worked with a variety of client populations from children to elderly. Most of her career has had a focus on outpatient orthopaedics from post-surgical to repetitive strain injuries.
Amanda has 10 years of experience with manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise prescription and functional re-training. She is certified through ACFI (Level 1) to include acupuncture and dry needling as treatment options. Amanda uses her experience as a certified yoga and dance instructor to create individualized exercise programs to promote and restore physical function.

Amanda has 10 years of experience with manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic exercise prescription and functional re-training. She also has a passion for Scar Tissue Treatments allowing for increased range of motion and proper fluid drainage.
RMTs can work with a variety of client populations in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation, and disability. Massage Therapy can be beneficial to a wide variety of conditions and is a great adjunctive to your everyday healthcare regime.
Krista Bernard-Lynch

Krista Bernard Lynch, RMT, received her diploma in Pre Health Sciences and Massage Therapy at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. She has been registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario since October 2010. Born and raised in Northern Ontario she moved to Cornwall in 2011 to continue her Massage Therapy career.

Bryanna Adams
Registered Massage Therapist
Bryanna Adams, RMT received her advance diploma in Registered Massage Therapy at Algonquin College in Ottawa Ontario. Born and raised in Cornwall Ontario, Bryanna returned to her hometown to start her massage therapy career in 2019.


Katherine has experience treating varsity athletes, sports injuries, prenatal clients, acute injuries, chronic pain, and the general physical discomforts of everyday living. While working as an exercise therapist at a Multidisciplinary clinic in Ottawa, Katherine developed a passion for injury prevention & rehabilitation. It is because of this background in injury management that Katherine integrates exercise into every single treatment session. She knows that combining the right hands-on treatment with a proper, graded rehabilitation plan helps prevent future and reoccurring injuries.
Katherine is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario. She looks forward to helping you move and feel your best!

Registered Massage Therapist
Katherine Fakotakis, RMT, is passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and helping others do the same! It is this passion that led her to obtain diplomas in both Massage Therapy and Fitness & Health Promotion from Algonquin College.
Katherine has experience treating varsity athletes, sports injuries, prenatal clients, acute injuries, chronic pain, and the general physical discomforts of everyday living. Our Administrative Team

Avery
Avery is one of the friendly faces you will see at Spine Care Plus. She is our Chiropractic Assistant and Laser Technician. Avery completed her Bioflex Laser Therapy certification in 2018 and is fully trained to assist each of our Chiropractors with aspects of your treatment including Laser therapy and other therapeutic treatment modalities. She has over 10 years of customer service experience and gets great pleasure in helping our patients feel their best.
Avery is originally from the west end of Ottawa and moved to the Long Sault area in 2014. During her “off hours,” you can find her spending quality time with her young son and husband, gardening and spending time outdoors.

Lesley
Lesley is the inviting personality and heartfelt smile that will welcome you to Cornwall Spine Care Plus. Lesley has fifteen plus years of experience in customer service and relations. Coupled with her ongoing passion for holistic healing, this has culminated in a strive for professionalism and caring for each and every one of you. She will be the helping hand that sees you through the process of scheduling appointments, billing and any office-related inquiries.
Lesley was born and raised in Cornwall and has planted the roots of her new family with her husband in this beautiful community. As a mom of two teenage girls, she divides her time between family, her daughters’ competitive volleyball schedule, school work and getting in some “me” time at the gym.

Patti is our back office administrator. She is responsible for all of the behind-the-scenes tasks that allow our office to run smoothly.
Patti grew up in Cornwall, Ontario. She completed her studies in Medical Office Assistant after going back to college in 2011. Her other passions include reading, listening to music, camping with her family and road trips.
